Helping individuals, couples and families heal, grow and build healthier relationships.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with relationship difficulties, anxiety, low self-esteem, loss, trauma, family challenges, or a sense that something isn't quite right. You may find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, feeling stuck, or carrying the impact of experiences that continue to affect your life today.
Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and better understand what is happening beneath the surface.
With over 17 years of experience as a Relationship Counsellor, Psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner, I have supported individuals, couples, young people and families through some of life's most difficult and transformative moments.
Based in Dorset, I offer Relationship Counselling, Psychotherapy and EMDR Therapy in Dorset, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Weymouth, Dorchester and across the UK online. My approach is warm, relational and trauma-informed. Together we can explore the experiences, relationships and beliefs that may be shaping your life, helping you develop greater understanding, resilience and choice.

Relationship Counselling and Psychotherapy
Relationships are central to our emotional wellbeing.
The relationships we have with partners, family members, friends and colleagues often influence how we see ourselves and how we experience the world. When relationships become difficult, painful or confusing, it can affect every area of life. As an experienced Relationship Counsellor and Relational Psychotherapist, I help clients understand recurring patterns, improve communication, strengthen relationships and develop healthier ways of connecting with themselves and others.
EMDR and Trauma Therapy
As a trained EMDR Therapist and trauma-informed practitioner, I support clients in processing difficult life experiences that may continue to impact their emotional wellbeing, relationships and sense of self. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a well-established, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process traumatic memories in a safe and effective way. It can be particularly helpful for developmental trauma, relationship trauma, adverse childhood experiences, anxiety and distressing life events. Many clients find that EMDR enables them to move forward with greater confidence, freedom and emotional resilience.
Experience You Can Trust
Alongside my private practice, I am a Lecturer and Tutor, where I teach and support the next generation of counsellors and psychotherapists. Prior to this, I spent 12 years with Relate as both a practitioner and Training Lead, specialising in relationship counselling, therapeutic practice and professional development.
My professional background also includes a Master's Degree in Human Resources adhieving Chartered MCIPD status, giving me extensive experience of supporting people through personal, relational and workplace challenges. I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within professional ethical and confidential frameworks.
Taking the First Step
Choosing a therapist can feel daunting. Finding someone you feel comfortable talking to is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. My aim is to provide a welcoming, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported. Whatever has brought you here, you do not have to face it alone. I welcome enquiries from individuals, couples, young people and families, and I am happy to discuss how therapy may be able to help. If you would like to arrange an initial consultation or have any questions about counselling, psychotherapy or EMDR therapy, please get in touch.Taking the first step can be the hardest part. You are welcome to contact me for an informal conversation about what you are looking for and whether I may be the right therapist for you.
