Most clients find exploring their concerns and difficulties in a safe non-judgmental way assists in understanding unhelpful patterns and identifying ways in which they wish to change. I will be supportive by providing such an environment, as well as offering questions and gentle challenges in order to help explore what is happening for you. In Counselling and Psychotherapy we may explore the past in order to help understand more about what might be informing the present. We will work together to identify what the areas of change are in order to ensure the work between us remains focused and your goals are met. Sometimes these goals may change and sometimes they may not initially be clear, all of this is ok.
What if I am not sure ?
You may be feeling confused or undecided or simply know that something just isn't sitting right with you. You might also know what your challenges are. Exploring what it is that you want to change with a trained counsellor or psychotherapist can assist you moving forward in a way that changes or enhances your life.
